JOURNAL.3 Worsted Wool Tropical fabric|尾州

High-density merino wool material used in Cornier.
We are using very rare and high-quality wool materials such as Super130's and Super180's to create the fabric.

The Super label of wool indicates the fineness of the wool fibers.
A higher fineness results in finer fibers of the raw wool, leading to a high-quality textile with a delicate touch and elegant luster.
Among them, the materials used by Cornier are fibers known as "suke" which are thin and long, allowing for a very delicate and high-quality touch while still feeling the elasticity and firmness of the raw materials.

The preparation process called "keitoshi" involves threading each warp yarn through the heddle according to the design of the fabric.
It is an essential process that requires skilled handling, indispensable for weaving the fabric.

A weaving factory with many looms lined up in an orderly fashion.
Weaving using weaving machines suitable for each material and fabric.

The fabric woven at the weaving factory is brought to the finishing factory, where it undergoes washing, pressing, and finishing processes.
It is a very important process that brings out the quality of the raw materials and determines the texture of the materials.

The finishing factory also mixes colors.
It is the key place for expressing the delicate colors of Cornier.
A strictly managed system ensures stable dyeing quality.

The finished fabric is ultimately inspected by human eyes.
Carefully remove fine scratches and dye stains from the fabric by visual inspection.

Super high-density wool is very high quality and superior among wool materials.
Among them, wool in the Super130 and Super180 classes has an extremely low global yield, and the texture, touch, and drape characteristics derived from the properties of the raw material are very delicate and unique.
To bring out the characteristics and texture of the raw materials, it is essential to have skilled hands and experience at key points.
Only by combining advanced machinery used in each process with the skilled hands of craftsmen can high-quality materials be produced.
