This luxurious plain weave fabric is carefully woven by a long-established loom manufacturer in Yonezawa, a silk production area, alternating ultra-fine combed wool from New Zealand of S160's rank with raw silk threads.
It combines the suppleness of high-tenacity wool with the firmness and resilience of naturally dyed raw silk threads, resulting in a uniquely elegant texture.
The subtle unevenness and deep luster caused by the difference in shrinkage rates between wool and silk contribute to a refreshing feel and three-dimensional texture when worn.
